Explore Pilot Education at Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre

Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) is thrilled to host our 2nd Annual High School Career Night, and we invite your grade 12 students and their families to join us for an evening dedicated to exploring the exciting pathways to becoming a Commercial Pilot for Hire in Canada.

Event Details:

  • When: January 29th 2026   3:00pm- 7:30pm
  • Where: Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre 3-4881 Fountain St. North Breslau N0B 1M0 (across from the Waterloo Wellington Airport).
  • Who Should Attend: Students in grades 11 and 12, along with their families, who are curious about aviation careers.

What to Expect:

  • Comprehensive information on WWFC’s current pathways to becoming a commercial pilot with a Live information Session at 5:00 pm.
  • Networking opportunities with our current student pilots across all three educational streams. University of Waterloo / ATPL Ontario Career College / Self-paced Modular.

Child and Youth Wellbeing Fair – Nov. 17, 2025

  • Interactive booths and activities for children and youth

  • Connect with local organizations offering free resources for children, youth, and families

Explore Your Future – Nov. 4th

The Business & Education Partnership of Waterloo Region is excited to announce that Explore Your Future is returning this fall on Tuesday November 4th 5-8pm at the Tapestry Hall in Cambridge.
Explore Your Future is a free event that helps caregivers, students and educators to better understand opportunities for work and learning here in Waterloo Region.
Exhibitors will showcase careers and answer your questions, including:
● Post-secondary institutions in the Waterloo Region
● Local employers in sectors like construction, advanced manufacturing, health care, technology, business, arts, and more
● Community agencies with resources on how to get experience through employment, volunteering or starting a business
● Experts in Experiential Learning and Career/Life Planning from the Waterloo Region and Waterloo Catholic school boards
● Apprenticeship: What it is and how students can try and start one for free through the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program

To support them in this important process, the Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB), in collaboration with community partners, is hosting a virtual information session for students and their families.
