Hello Phoenix,

We are looking forward to seeing you again – or meeting you for the first time if you are new to the school.  Before then, you will receive a welcome back letter but we want to share some important information to prepare for next week.

Our school year will begin with a staggered start!

  • Sept 7th – grade & 10Community & Active Living and ELD students
    • Dress Down day for students – NO UNIFORM REQUIRED ON DAY ONE
  • Sept 8th – grade 11 & 12Community & Active Living and ELD students
    • Dress Down day for students – NO UNIFORM REQUIRED ON DAY ONE
  • Sept 9th & 10th – ALL Students in attendance, in uniform
  • HYBRID Students – you will be contacted by your teacher(s) with further details to connect to the class

We endeavour to focus our attention on a smaller group of students each day to review safety protocols and allow for new students to familiarize themselves with the campus.

Student timetables for 2021-2022 will be made available to students through the Aspen Student Portal, and to parents/guardians through the Aspen Family/Parent Portal in late August, when the Ministry of Education confirms the September to January learning delivery model.  Students and families will be notified of the publication of schedules to the Aspen portals, through School Messenger and Newswire.  Parents/Guardians – Please ensure you have registered for the Aspen Family/Parent Portal, and notify the school of any changes to your personal e-mail address or primary phone number during the summer.


All students must be in uniform beginning Wednesday, September 8th.  Only McCarthy uniform items are permitted.  No uniforms will be lent out by the Main Office.  If a student has forgotten a uniform item, they will be asked to call home.

Used Uniforms

Resurrection has a limited supply of used uniform for distribution. If you require uniform assistance, please complete the google form : or email for assistance.

More highlights

  • Properly fitted masks are to be worn in the building
  • Hand hygiene is more important than ever – sanitize and wash regularly
  • Lockers are available for student use – students will be permitted a 5 minute time limit at lockers
  • The cafeteria will not be open for general use at lunch
  • We are hoping to provide students with access to their schedules by Friday September 3rd.  Detailed instructions will follow.

Student Parking

Parking is available for all vehicles that are officially registered through the main office. Parking is permitted for students in designated areas.
