In addition to our classroom instruction we would like to make you aware of the various opportunities Resurrection CSS is providing in order to help prepare students for their upcoming OSSLT:

  • Join the Literacy Google Classroom to access and participate in practice questions and mini-lessons (Classroom Code: bg4iws)

  • Participate in after school sessions beginning in March in Room 216:

    • Monday, March 5: Information about the OSSLT, Test Day, A-tech, Accessing Resources etc. Practice
    • Thursday, March 8: Multiple Choice
    • Monday, March 19: Newspaper Reports (Reading, Organizing, Writing)
    • Thursday, March 22: Grammar
    • Monday, March 26: Opinion Essay (Organizing, Series of Paragraphs)
    • Wednesday, March 28: Reading Strategies (How/where to locate information, types of questions etc.)
    • Tuesday, April 3: Short Writing Tasks
    • Wednesday, April 4: Newspaper Report and Opinion Essay
    • Friday, April 6: Graphic Text / Dialogue
    • Monday, April 9: Open Forum – Help with any/all topics
      • Bring a friend…snacks are provided 🙂
  • Meet with your Special Education Monitor Teacher or Student Success Teacher to develop a plan for success (Rooms 109 or 117)

  • Pick up a copy of OSSLT Literacy Lab in room 109 while supplies last.
