Resurrection’s Chaplain is Jane Lanteigne
Welcome to Resurrection
We are privileged to minister to 1500 students and staff of this school community. In communion with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hamilton we provide for the spiritual needs of all within Resurrection Catholic Secondary School. Resurrection encompasses 7 Roman Catholic parishes and 1 Ukrainian Catholic parish. It is often thought that the youth of today are less spiritually inclined than in previous generations but this if far from the truth. The desire for a relationship with Jesus Christ is a profound part of the youth of today and at Resurrection we endeavour to nurture that desire at every turn. Our school participates in daily communal prayer, charity, semester based religious instruction as well as the sacramental reception of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Our identity is one of a “faith based” educational community. All children are encouraged to seek God and all religious traditions are respected.
“Each one of them is Jesus in disguise”
~ Mother Teresa

Congratulations Rez and thank you for your immense generosity. Our gratitude humbles us. Our gratitude runs deep.
Thank for all that you are and all that you do.
“Well done good and faithful servants!” (Matthew 25:21) Sr. Doreen Cloutier CSC
