January 17th – SNOW DAY – Schools are closed today

Today is a snow day.  All schools and sites are closed.  It will be an asynchronous learning day.

Due to the current weather conditions ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES operated by the Board are cancelled. All schools are CLOSED and it will be a Remote Learning Day. Students should visit their virtual classrooms for resources. All before and after school programs and child care centres co-located in schools are CLOSED.

Nutrition for Learning

Good morning, Phoenix families,

With the announcement that schools will remain closed for at least 2 weeks, Nutrition for Learning will be pivoting to Pop Up Nutrition Breaks to support the students of our region by ensuring they will have access to healthy snacks during on-line learning, as well as, providing a small piece of normalcy in these crazy times!!!!

Pop Up Nutrition Breaks will start today, Wednesday January 5, 2022!

Reminder: New Bell Times on Monday

Dear Resurrection Community,

A reminder that on Monday November 29th, we be extending our school day for 5 (40 minute lunch, plus 5 minutes of travel time) to provide a full 40 minutes of lunch time.  This change will have an impact on the start time of period 2 and end of day bus times.  For those that have transportation provided, all afterschool buses will leave 5 minutes later.

 

Bell Times – to change as of Monday November 29th

 

8:05 Warning Bell

8:10 Beginning of Period 1
10:40 End of Period 1
  Lunch
10:40 Students have two options for lunch:
  • Stay in period 1 classroom until 11:00
  • Go outside until 11:10
11:00 Students who stayed inside for lunch are dismissed from period 1 classrooms
11:10 Students who went outside for lunch are allowed to re-enter building
11:20 Warning Bell for Period 2
