As a Merchandiser you will help make the store look attractive and organized. Other duties include organizing items on shelves and displays, as well as keeping clothing properly sized and colour-blocked. Merchandisers also help with the pulling of old stock.

Each year City Hall turns into the big top and the mayor and members of council welcome Kitchener residents to celebrate the new year with a free carnival – themed event.

As a New Year’s Levee volunteer, you will play a key role in running key areas of the event (carnival games and food stations).  PLEASE NOTE: Once placed as a New Year Levee volunteer, you will sign up for a specific role for the day.
