As a Youth Board Member, you will represent a youth perspective for Lakeshore South residents on the community association. You will also Inform and design new programs and supports for neighbourhood youth (13-17), and you will participate in the planning of neighbourhood events and activities. Regular attendance is required at monthly meetings.*Applicants must live in the Lakeshore South neighbourhood boundaries: all the lands bounded by Northfield Drive West, Weber Street North, Albert Street, Bearinger Road, and Westmount Road North.

iHelp International is looking for volunteers who know how to design and use henna to put it in the hands of women and girls. Henna cones and other required materials will be provided.

Other duties involve setting up the hall, decorating, organizing tables and chairs, and getting the hall ready for the event participants. Your assistance will also be appreciated at the end of the event to wrap everything up and return equipment and other items to their original locations.

Youth Performers play music at Forest Heights Community Library to bring enjoyment to customers and build their musical résumé.

Other responsibilities and tasks involve arriving on time to set up and prepare for performance, bringing your own instruments, music, music stands, etc., connecting with staff  to set-up space, introduce the performance, and provide assistance as needed, and performing for 30-45 minutes.
