Program Volunteer

Creative Spaces Art program helps enhance resilience in children & youth (6-17yrs).  The volunteers work collectively with program facilitators to actively engage with children/youth, as they participate in creative arts program.

Some responsibilities include building positive relationships, providing a safe learning environment, modeling social and life skills, supporting Program Facilitators, and using an equity lens to work with a diverse population with a respectful and inclusive approach.

Electronics Repairer and Tester

Retail Therapy, is how the Domestic Violence Victim’s Alliance organization is funded. This volunteer position is ideal for anyone who loves electronics and tinkering with circuits. This position involves processing donated electronics by testing functionality and making minor repairs.

This position requires a volunteer to be knowledgeable about circuitry and electrical safety!

Marketplace Server

As a Marketplace Server, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to assist the Ray of Hope community. From guiding guests accessing the Marketplace food hamper program, to connecting with them one on one, your support will make a real difference to the lives of others.

Other tasks include restocking shelves, and general cleanup of the work area to be done as required. Volunteers are scheduled for one shift per week only and must be able to commit to a 13-week minimum commitment.
