Camp Volunteer

[Ages 14+]

As a camp volunteer you will assist staff with coaching and supervising children at camp, you will be a part of equipment collection and maintenance (ex. inflating soccer balls, collecting cones), and you will provide general help around the camp while meeting all safety protocols.

Volunteers can apply for:
• morning sessions (20 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30am – 12:30pm),
• afternoon sessions (20 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 12:30pm – 4:30pm) or
• full days sessions (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30am – 4:30pm)

General Volunteer

[Ages 14+]

The Grand River Film Festival (GRFF) is an incorporated non-profit entering with a mission to celebrate and inspire community through the shared experience of film.

As a general volunteer you will assist with cash managing (ticket sales, complimentary ticket and wait list coordination, cash reconciliation and engagement with attendees to sign up for the electronic newsletter). ushering (assisting guests into the theatre, coordinating wait lines, and providing general information about festival events), and directly engaging community members.

Volunteer Tutor

As a volunteer tutor you will provide grade 7 to 12 academic support, and you will help students develop effective studying skills.
