Do you want to share your passion for powerlifting with others?
Special Olympics is founded on the belief that people with intellectual disabilities can, with proper instruction and encouragement, learn, enjoy and benefit from participation in individual and team sports. In this volunteer role, you will assist in developing a powerlifting training plan for Special Olympic athletes and teach proper powerlifting techniques in each of the three; powerlifts, squat, bench-press and deadlift.
*An understanding of effective powerlifting training processes, activities and equipment would be an asset.
