Ceremony Information

*Students will be required to come to the Centre In The Square for rehearsal by 9:45am on June 30th

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANYTHING WITH YOU THAT YOU CANNOT BRING ON STAGE FOR THE CEREMONY (This includes purses, cellphones, cameras, etc.  Please have a guest bring these for you.)

*Parking in public pay-lots is required. If you can get dropped off, then do so. Alternatively, see the PARKING INFOrmation at the bottom.


Are you ready to Graduate?

* Will you have 30 credits by June 30th?

* Have you completed and submitted 40 community service hours by May 1st?

* Have you met the Literacy requirement by passing the OSSLT or completing the OLC course?

Participation Options:

$80 = Attend the Graduation ceremony on June 30th at 12 Noon and attend the Graduate Honour Day Luncheon on May 2nd

$30 = Graduate Honour Day Luncheon only May 2nd- Not attending the Graduation ceremony on June 30th

$ No Cost = Student does not wish to participate in the Graduation ceremony or the Graduate Honour Day Luncheon - Diploma will be available for pick up in Guidance in July

*All graduates will be given six tickets each. If there are any tickets remaining, they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Everyone in attendance must have a ticket (including infants) as it is required under fire codes and Centre In The Square

Graduates will be given more detailed instructions in the coming months

**Please Note**

The Graduation Committee looked into a variety of scenarios, dates, times and venues. Based on what was available to Resurrection, we have chosen the best option possible for all involved

Grad Day Schedule

Important Information about Grad Day

 Grad day is Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017.  Here is the schedule for the day:

 Period 1

    attend regular classes

    period 1 teacher will give grads that have paid their fees a wristband

 Period 2

    check in at your regular period 2 class for attendance

    period 2 teacher will escort grads down to mass in the gym


    after mass, grads will go directly to the cafeteria for lunch

    catered lunch by Vincenzo’s

Period 3

    completion of lunch and Valedictorian speeches and vote

Period 4

    possibly attend all or some of this period


Expectations of Graduates

·       Graduates can be out of uniform for the day.  We encourage students to dress up for this special day and should be dressed in appropriate attire for attending mass (i.e. no ripped or torn jeans or shorts)

·       It is expected that all graduates will attend mass. If you are interested in attending the grad day lunch, please make sure that you have paid your graduate fees to the main office.


If you do NOT have a period 1 class, you will receive your wristband at the cafeteria (if you have paid).


Community Service Hours

Community Service Hours must be completed and submitted to guidance by May 1st in order to graduate.


Returning for a 5th year?

Students are welcome to return as full-time students for a 5th year.

Note: Students who have applied to college or university for September will not be able to make course requests for Resurrection until they have decided not to pursue a postsecondary pathway for the next school year.

All lots charge between $10.75 and $14.50 as the daily maximum
